Tickseats ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our platform. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

Legal Framework

This Cookie Policy complies with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679 — GDPR). Non-essential cookies are only activated with your explicit consent. For more information about how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, phone, or tablet when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work properly, improve user experience, and provide information to site owners.

Cookies can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by external services we use). They can also be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them).

We also use localStorage, a similar browser technology that stores data locally on your device. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is not sent to servers with every request.

2. Cookies We Use

A detailed breakdown of every cookie and storage technology on our platform.

Essential / Authentication Cookies

Strictly Necessary

These cookies are required for the platform to function. They manage your login session, authentication state, and security tokens via Supabase Auth. Without these, you cannot sign in or use account features. No consent is required as they are strictly necessary.

Not Used

We do not use any advertising, retargeting, or behavioural tracking cookies. Your browsing activity is never shared with ad networks or used for targeted advertising.

3. Your Cookie Choices

You are always in control of which cookies are active.

1

Cookie Banner

When you first visit Tickseats, a cookie banner appears at the bottom of the page. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in localStorage as "cookieConsent".

2

Browser Settings

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using core features.

3

Google Analytics Opt-Out

If you reject cookies, Google Analytics is fully disabled via the gtag consent API. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on for additional protection.

4

Change Your Mind

You can withdraw or modify your consent at any time. Simply clear your browser's site data for Tickseats (Settings → Privacy → Clear site data) and refresh the page. The cookie consent banner will reappear, allowing you to make a new choice. You may also contact us at support@tickseats.com for assistance.

5. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to external websites. These third-party sites have their own cookie policies. We have no control over the cookies they set when you visit their websites. We encourage you to review their cookie policies.

6. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no universal standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. However, if you reject cookies through our banner, analytics tracking is disabled regardless of your DNT setting.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our practices. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through a banner on the platform or via email. Your continued use of Tickseats after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
